It's been a while since I did a formal shoot. Finally, the time has come for me to test out these new FlexTT5's and MiniTT1. My friend Tee gladly helped me out and did some shots yesterday. Here's a quick sample from yesterday's shoot.

About a year ago, Caribou mastermind Dan Snaith couldn't swim. On a good day, he might get a decent doggy paddle going but, really, he could barely stay afloat. All that changed when his wife got him swimming lessons for Christmas. "Then I became completely obsessed with it and now I swim constantly," he says. "The only times I really left the house in the past year were either to go out to a club late at night or, in the middle of making music during the day, I'd go to swim every day. It was important to get some distance, and ideas would percolate around in my head as I was swimming away. So it seemed like a theme that was appropriate."

With its absorption of club culture sounds weaved within subtle pop frameworks, Swim is Caribou's masterpiece-the record he's wanted to bring to fruition for as long as he's been making music. A Canadian from small-town Ontario now based in England, Snaith has been a leading figure in electronic music over the past decade. A mathematics scholar and an ingenious multi-instrumentalist/composer, he surprised critics and fans with 2007's Andorra, a brilliant, electro-tinged pop breakthrough with a timeless grace that made most year-end "Best of" lists and won Canada's prestigious Polaris Music Prize. After the startling infectiousness of Andorra, Swim is a more complex, multi-layered affair-ripe with fascinating rhythms, instrumentation, and vocals (including those of Born Ruffians' Luke Lalonde, who appears on "Jamelia")-that becomes more alluring with each listen. And it's got Caribou floating.

Myself & Tyler Ashbee on the right.

This was one of our Photo submissions from our Connect the Dots entry.

I decided to do a portrait of Tyler and I instead of a Skate photo to give our entry some variety.

Star Diamond brand ambassadors gather for a multi-course formal dinner at the famous Cellar restaurant at the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac for Mastermind Summit 2025

Head from Hasbro, body is Variant Loki, Luis coat and a DC Alex Ross Scarecrow Inverness cape. Ciggy from gpslot on ebay.

My version of Mastermind (and my first MOC with my NXT). When you have placed the balls just press the button on the front. Then the NXT scans all the colors and show you if you are right. If you have all four colours right the NXT show you how many tries you needed.

Sixshot gets a very large Transformers Classics toy thanks to the third-party toy company: Mastermind Creations. His official name is Terminus Hexatron, part of the Reformatted series.

Pictured in winged wolf mode.

He is a very impressive re-imagining of the original six-changer. Each mode is pretty solid and has improvements on the original G1 figure.

He is a bit of a beast to transform with stiff joints and sharp edges, but the wait for this guy finally paid off.

What is the most ridiculous thing that I don't need on my desk? A 30inch tall golden bear!

This is Billie Reed, trying to crack my secret code!

We played ‘Mastermind’ on holiday, and it took me back to the Seventies, when the game was first introduced. The design has undergone something of an upgrade since the flimsy sheet of grey plastic it started off as – does anyone remember it? I could never understand the link with the BBC TV series of the same name, except that the box lid had an odd photograph of an anonymous Eastern lady sitting in the famous black chair, with an unknown moustachioed man standing behind!

But I reminisce far too much! The game, however, is still fun – AND needs most of Billy’s limited brain power to get the better of his daughter!
