The Disney Store is on my left. The glass wall allows such fun shots by doubling the image. The Marshall Field's Great Clock is ahead, attached to the Macy's downtown Chicago store building.
This is a recreation of the famous cover of the Saturday Evening Post by artist Norman Rockwell. It show a timekeeper making sure it was keeping time. Today, the clock is tied into a GPS system, and is suppose to eliminate people perceiving the wrong time, sometimes on both clocks.

The first floor decorations inside the former Marshall Field & Company store, now Macy's on State. Not much has changed here but the name.

Marshall Field State St. Chicago - we came into Chicago on this day so I could shop for jewelry to wear at Jack & Effie's wedding. I choseSwarovski crystal by Blair DelMonico. This display case shows necklaces, bracelets and earrings similar to those I picked.
To follow up on my pictures of the Macy's-Field's transition (see earlier in my photostream), here's Macy's take on Christmas. They're trying to keep Marshall Field's traditions without the name and without the colors—which is hard because green is sort of an important part of red and green. There's even a Frango window without any green in it.
