Unfortunately I was completely zonked out on alcohol and a terrible flu when I was taking these shots.
This did mean that this one wasn't set right in terms of settings, and there's a far too much noise in the shot as a result.
However, the shot is great in every other way, and I couldn't bear discarding it. So... just don't zoom in?
There is a huge demand for rose petals in Smallville every year around Valentine's Day and, as usual at this time of year, the rose petal collectors are busy at work harvesting their crop.

My wife loves antique and thrift stores. This afternoon we were driving through Saint Peter Minnesota on our way back home. She saw a store called Finders Keepers while searching Google for stores in the area. We ended up stopping and taking quick look around. I found this book as she was paying for what she bought

I love this photo, while I was in Portugal I was invited to this guy's 69th birthday party and this photo is of him and his wife dancing on the patio overlooking the sea as the sunset.
Happy memories and I hope I have quarter of the energy this couple have when I reach their age.
This is a REPOST from early February, 2010. This was originally a genuine Polaroid print. I added a framework as I edited the actual one years ago.
Sadly, our nearby Los Bravos is no more. A bunch of small businesses were turned out when a huge property was acquired by a developer. Unable to find rents anywhere near what theyād been paying before all this rampant āimprovement.ā
So here am I, Donna, Margaritas and food at what was one of our favorite places. Oh!ā¦ that and a disembodied arm!
Me: These are very dramatic photos.
Mom: Yeah, I always loved these.
Me: Were they the photographer's idea?
Mom: Yeah.
Me: I suppose it wasn't quite as romantic when you realized it's a view of Brooklyn.
Mom: Yeah, but you sort of blocked it out.
