Der Neustädter Brunnen wurde versetzt und bildet nun das von weitem sichtbare Merkzeichen des Neuen Marktes. Am Fuß des historischen Brunnens prägt ein Belagsteppich aus Grauwacke im römischen Verband den Platz. Während die Grauwacke auch für die raumgliedernden Rinnenbänder Verwendung findet, kommt auf der restlichen Platzfläche Granitpflaster in unterschiedlichen Formaten zum Einsatz.

This large market square in the centre of Bruges is more of a circle than a square. If you stand in the middle by the large statue, you can turn a complete circle and see a ring of gorgeous buildings, including the belfry. Car free since 1995, it makes for great people watching, whether from the view of a horse drawn carriage or sitting at one of the many market side cafes.

Op 28 Februari 2019 heeft er een uitslaande brand gewoed op de bovenste verdieping van dit monumentaal pand en dit is nog steeds goed te zien helaas , het restaurant Daandels wat daar gevestigd is zat nog steeds dicht

Der Platz befindet sich am südlichen Ende der Rosenthaler Straße, an dem sich bis in das 19. Jahrhundert der Festungsgraben erstreckte. Außerdem laufen die Oranienburger Straße, die Große Präsidentenstraße, die Neue Promenade und die Straße An der Spandauer Brücke auf den Platz zu.
Der Bauernmarkt befindet sich in der Altstadt von Funchal. Hier findet man ein tolles Angebot an Blumen, Obst,
Gemüse, Fisch bis hin zu Leder- und Korbwaren.
Große Weidenkörbe sind gefüllt mit Obst, Gemüse, Gewürzen und Kräutern. Es duftet nicht nur, sondern es schmeckt hier auch exotisch. Kosten kann man von den Früchten wie z.B. Maracuja-Banane, Maracuja-Tomate, Anona, und Papaya, die von den Händlern angeboten werden.
Kurz vor dem Bahnhof Günzach konnte ich am 10. Januar 2021 die etwas blasse Ulmer 218 481 mit dem IC 2084 "Nebelhorn" aufnehmen. Im Hintergrund erkennt man den Markt Obergünzburg. Endlich war der Winter eingekehrt und die Landschaft zeigte sich verschneit.
