Dad got Mario Kart for Father's Day so he and my mom had to break it out for some friendly - most of the time - competition.
Mario Kart Wii was the game for Madison Public Library's 2010 summer teen video game tournament. After 7 qualifying rounds held at various Madison library branches throughout June and July, 28 racers were invited to the championship.
The top four racers:
-1st place, Elias, won a golden trophy (Wii-mote and Wii-wheel that is still usable) and a $60 GameStop gift card.
-2nd place, Eric, won a $40 GameStop gift card.
-3rd place, Robbie, won a $25 gift card.
-4th place, Brie, won a $10 gift card.

The Tuesday gaming day this week was Mario Kart on the Wii! Four players at a time could race for the checkered flag in this action packed game. Some were new to the game and others were first timers, but all had fun!
Who’s been playing Mario Kart World?? When it released last week, I spied this fantastic new kart, Li’l Dumpy, and just had to build it!
Designed like a child’s plastic dump truck, most characters look ridiculous in it, similar to Mr. Scooty from previous Mario Kart games.
Bright light orange (cheese) colored pieces have been a welcome addition to the Lego color palette, and the new hard plastic wheels from the Mario Kart sets made this whole thing possible.
The build fits small and medium characters, and even chunky Lego Luigi!
Check out my Instagram for a 360 video with a range of characters, and my Super Mario album for more angles of Li’l Dumpy and other Super Mario inspired builds!
I was just looking in a Best Buy store in Guadajalara, Mexico ... and first I saw the little kid playing Mario Kart for Wii (something really normal) but...minutes later... I saw the man helping the child!...(I though.."WOW") ... a little bit later I saw the old man sit and playing with all his energies! ...then I was thinking.."DAMN! that man rocks so bad! I wanna be like him when I am older!
