The Tuesday gaming day this week was Mario Kart on the Wii! Four players at a time could race for the checkered flag in this action packed game. Some were new to the game and others were first timers, but all had fun!
Actually, they're behaving themselves now. Ah, brotherly love. How better to take out your aggressions on someone than to have a game of Mario Kart.

I wanted to be Daisy from Mariokart Wii, but there was no way to find a costume, so I made it myself. I hand sewed the orange stripes onto the white top and skinny jeans, designed and sewed the heart onto the back, sewed together the boots, constructed earrings, the crown detail and brooch from fake gems from a bracelet and felt, and I added orange kitchen gloves and a belt, and voila! The only motorcycle-riding Daisy costume I've ever seen. And I think it turned out wicked...
