A map in the museum in Hiroshima, detailing the hypocentre of the atomic bomb in World War II above the city, and the small number of buildings that were left standing in the aftermath.
Added mountains and rivers and border tints. I made a mountain brush (344x377) and stamped/erased it all over the map, then painted the mountain highlights on to make it pop.
Today, after digging out my trusty California map that I got in the mail from the tourism office (the last time I traveled to CA) I found you all very easily!
Michael, when you get back from climbing Everest you'll see I 'borrowed' some of your pics ... they were all right there in your photostream, I couldn't help it! lol....
So now I have a better understanding of the distances involved with regard to where you all are. The couple in San Marcos is my cousin David and his wife Suzie.
Of course, All Sizes shows it much better.
