Our Daily Challenge 29 December - 4 January : Map.
The walls are thick with mosses with all the damp, and even as a child I thought they looked like maps.
Now, with images from Google Earth in full colour, They are even more like views from above.
"The Tennessee Riverwalk is a 13-mile (21-km) riverside path which parallels the Tennessee River from the Chickamauga Dam to downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee. It is part of the Tennessee Riverpark System featuring the Tennessee Riverpark, Coolidge Park, Renaissance Park, Ross's Landing, the Walnut Street Bridge, the Blue Goose Hollow section and the old U.S. Pipe property.
The Riverwalk is a mix of paved pathways, boardwalks, and bridges along the river, through marshland, and over creeks. Restroom facilities and drinking fountains are conveniently spaced along the path."

As you probably has already guessed, I'm pretty fond of Italy and everything italian. And that's also count for my choice of wine. If I choose the wine, it's always italian, but also because Vino Rosso d'Italia is so drinkable.
Here is a bottle of Tosco (2021) from Villa Poggio Salvi located in Montalcino, Tuscany. Very nice wine at it's pricepoint of €9 - not a top wine, but good for your daily diner.

A Marble & Granite Workroom
in Chicago uses as Diamond-Blade-Circular-Saw
to cut through Stone Slabs that are NOT cut (machined)
using their CNC-WaterJet-Machine.
The "bed" of that machine is to my eye-
a work of ART!
This is what I am sharing.
Not a map, but an extreme macro of a maple leaf in autumn colors.

NDCS team away day looking at the impact of the Cameron government's cuts on social care for deaf children and young people. We visualised the cuts as a dark raincloud, and NDCS campaigns and services as a sunburst of hope.
Challenging times. I do like colourful mind maps and post it notes, and here's the result of our afternoon session.
I was astounded by Bill Rankin's map of Chicago's racial and ethnic divides and wanted to see what other cities looked like mapped the same way. To match his map, Red is White, Blue is Black, Green is Asian, Orange is Hispanic, Gray is Other, and each dot is 25 people. Data from Census 2000. Base map © OpenStreetMap, CC-BY-SA
