A well used map of the Mc Nib area. Mostly moorland with a few crags and lowland marsh areas only a couple of townships with no roads (because I forgot to draw them), but a few well trodden paths (could have used this for Inktober 3!) The observant among you will have notice the 'X'. Every map should have an "X marks the spot!".

Few hours of copy/paste and woola. A full map of one of the mainlands in SL (and the largest I might add) Unfortunately, flickr doesn't allow more than 10mbs but the original is pretty well detailed.
Our Daily Challenge 29 December - 4 January : Map.
The walls are thick with mosses with all the damp, and even as a child I thought they looked like maps.
Now, with images from Google Earth in full colour, They are even more like views from above.
Only the telescope view
brings you closer to it.
The treasure map of a junk
addict, a delight for pearly kings
and queens, a shiny chaos turned
into a respectable collection.
But in the end it remains
a bling bling mystery

As you probably has already guessed, I'm pretty fond of Italy and everything italian. And that's also count for my choice of wine. If I choose the wine, it's always italian, but also because Vino Rosso d'Italia is so drinkable.
Here is a bottle of Tosco (2021) from Villa Poggio Salvi located in Montalcino, Tuscany. Very nice wine at it's pricepoint of €9 - not a top wine, but good for your daily diner.

The "bed" of that machine is to my eye-
a work of ART!
This is what I am sharing.
Not a map, but an extreme macro of a maple leaf in autumn colors.
Studio work based on 43 images, assembled in Zerene Stacker (Dmap & Pmax), not cropped. Image 2.5mm wide (magnification 14.4x on ff).
Canon 5Dmkii, Canon FD bellows, Rodenstock Apo-Gerogon 240/9, Mitutoyo planapo 10x, ISO-100, 1/4sec, daylight led, diffused with tracing paper.
I was astounded by Bill Rankin's map of Chicago's racial and ethnic divides and wanted to see what other cities looked like mapped the same way. To match his map, Red is White, Blue is Black, Green is Asian, Orange is Hispanic, Gray is Other, and each dot is 25 people. Data from Census 2000. Base map © OpenStreetMap, CC-BY-SA

The current Typhoon in the Western Pacific will miss Kwajalein. Kwajalein, in the Pacific Ocean, near the equator, is the largest coral atoll on Earth.

To extract a system, it first must be stripped of any physical base. Removing a system's relative parts, (in this case buildings, roads, etc.) leaves a network of points or ideas with an existent but unknown medium to connect them. Rebuilding that bare system piece by piece using other contextual, and sometimes abstracted, systems.
Cornell University - UG Balance takes Ezra Cornell's vision of "any person finding instruction in any study" and maps it against the university's semi-urban environment. In the style of a subway map, Cornell University - UG Balance exaggerates the urban quality of Cornell's Ithaca campus relative to its surrounding rural environment.
The piece minimizes the geographical features of the campus and shows the fundamental relationship between Cornell's colleges, similar to the way the university, being a land-grant school, plays an integral role in the Ithaca area. Despite the vast differences between the colleges, they operate symbiotically, mimicking the urban-rural interdependence of Cornell and Ithaca.

I was just about to floor it out of a dead end in Randwick when I saw this vehicle come around the corner and roll down the hill. I reversed back with hope they’ll keep coming towards me to do their thing, but unfortunately they cut things short and came back later to cover the ground where I was stopped. I saw the street view camera a while ago now and didn’t see any fresh images published, so didn’t expect to view myself on the maps, but I checked again and there I am in SL37! This picture was taken in Albi Place and we also crossed paths on the upper end of neighbouring Milford Street. I got a picture of Google and Google got a picture of me =]
