The number keypad on a calculator and a computer are both consistently mapped. I never even really have to look at either to perform my calculations. It is a pain, though, that the arithmetic buttons are not consistently mapped across the two. Weirdly, the number keypad on phones are switched, with 1-3 across the top, and 7-9 across the bottom.

Owned by one of the Ljubljanian Open Street Mappers, the bike has a camera on the front, a waypoint recording box on the dashboard, and a GPS, computer, router and wi-fi uploading link behind the seat. Bascially you just cycle around and it does all the mapping for you.

In Mid May, 11 of us paddled canoes and kayaks along the shores of the Owyhee reservoir to map invasive tamarisk on its shores, and back up into the Honeycombs Wilderness Study Area. Fantastic, long days mixing paddling and hiking, all rewarded with spectacular views of landscapes made all the more scenic with addition of mist and clouds. Unfortunately tamarisk was widespread on essentially every flat plain on the reservoir and extended up into the Wilderness Study area as well.
