Project for Nike Italia, that allows marketing department to visit virtually all stores that sell Nike products, to watch video and photo material, and to see position of the stores in relation to POI (Points Of Interest).
Furthermore, this project allows the user to experience the city zones, so that he could choose the best products per store and ultimately perfectly define the target customers.
The mapping technique uses a satellite to capture high-resolution images of a specific area from two angles. Then, the NASA Ames Stereo Pipeline software creates an elevation map with accuracy of a few feet. This example shows Mount Baker. Participants pour hot and cold water onto the surface, and differences in temperature are mapped to different appearances. Here is the simple blue-to-red mapping. In other modes, temperature is mapped to depth in a landscape.
