A random map of Brookhaven and Lincoln County, Mississippi that I found on the Daily Leader newspaper website of the service areas that Waste Management, the new garbage and waste contractor company that was hired by both the City of Brookhaven and Lincoln County.
Waste Management will begin its duties to haul off our garbage and waste on Monday, September 30, 2024. This company has handled both the city and county's garbage and waste before they both switched to a different company called ''Waste Pro'' and right now, they are currently with Arrow Disposal Services, Incorporated. (ADSI)
Apparently my part of the City of Brookhaven will have our garbage collected and picked up on Tuesday mornings by 7 AM. It will take a little while for me to get use to as I am used to getting my garbage out to the street on Tuesday nights as Arrow Disposal Services would pick up the garbage on very early Wednesday mornings around 5:30 AM. I will just have to remember to get the garbage out to the street on Monday nights instead of Tuesday nights.
I also need to remember to put all of my garbage into the new large green 96-gallon garbage carts or ''cans'' that Waste Management has provided as the old big blue garbage cans are owned by Arrow Disposal Services will be picked up soon as the old company departs from its duties.
I also need to remember to keep the new garbage cans one 3 feet apart from each other as well as 4 feet away from other permanent objects like a tree or mailbox as the new garbage collector trucks will be side-loaders with an automatic robotic arm that will pick up the large green cans and dump the garbage into the hopper. Arrow Disposal Services currently uses 3-man crews and their fleet of rear-loader trucks. Waste Management will using single-man crews (the driver) who operates the side-loader trucks.

Apparently these highway planners failed to realize that a road needs to be continuous in order for it to be useful.
Today, after digging out my trusty California map that I got in the mail from the tourism office (the last time I traveled to CA) I found you all very easily!
Michael, when you get back from climbing Everest you'll see I 'borrowed' some of your pics ... they were all right there in your photostream, I couldn't help it! lol....
So now I have a better understanding of the distances involved with regard to where you all are. The couple in San Marcos is my cousin David and his wife Suzie.
Of course, All Sizes shows it much better.
Araceli, I dreamed I was in Mexicali last night!!!!!
