The official guide book for Berlin, Germany, issued by the city's Tourism Office and that contains details of attractions and transport in the city and its surroundings. There is also a 1:25000 street plan of central Berlin along with a street index. The booklet also contains a number of transport plans and maps detailing travel within the city and its surroundings.

Beyond Charming | Northern Map Turtle

Upon completing my most recent but photographically lean hike at Frontenac Park, a juvenile Northern Map Turtle fortuitously caught my attention. This beautiful, pristine turtle specimen had a shell size of 4 cm (1.5”) and may have been one or two years old. Found on a relatively large expanse of open space, the wary yet cooperating turtle was helped in the direction of its heading to the shore of the nearby lake at the conclusion of the brief photoshoot. On my return to Kingston, I stopped by the Inner Harbour where I spotted two mature turtles, coincidently also Map Turtles, basking in early evening sun which are shown for comparative purposes at the conclusion of this post.
