Icelandic artists creating Indian figure of "bani thani"

Even though this map shows Tom Sawyer Island, it shows it as two non connected islands with no detail on the south island, it shows no rafts to the Isalnd, only one riverboat and the attraction is listed as "Admiral Joe Fowler Riverboat" suggesting it was the only ship at this time. in fact some of the details seem to be working titles that may not have made it to opening day. was the Liberty Square Counter service restaurant ever actually called the Nantucket Harbor house? it is here. The first WDW attraction to close is listed here as well, the safari Club (an arcade you can read all about at mike Lee's most Excellent widen Your World web site:

A map showing the Sheffield District before Rationalisation

This map, displayed at the Dundas Roncesvalles Peace Garden parkette in the west-end neighbourhood of Roncesvalles, depicts territory that was--one year after the formation of Canada--still substantially rural. The map clearly shows the great arc of Dundas Street West as it curves north, avoiding what were then swamps and other lowlands and now substantially High Park, as well as the shallower curve of east-west artery Davenport Road to the northeast along the base of the escarpment marking the shoreline of the Ice Age's Glacial Lake Iroquois.

These territories have all been transformed radically, densely urbanized and booming. Even the Humber River that was once a boundary has become an internal waterway of the City of Toronto, Etobicoke on the western side being part of the legal city.

This is the detail of the map of Nuuksio which shows where the ponds I visited are. Parked at the big red dot, and then went by Haukkalampi and Mustalampi towards Valklampi.

Snorkeled for a bit over an hour in the very left corner, and then walked back the other side of the trail just to check it out (took 15min of determined pace to make it back).

Sadly, neither part of the trail is suitable for pulling a trolley, so if we do go dive there with gear, it means carrying it on our backs. The red trail is about 2km long, and Valklampi is smack in the middle. So its about 1 km either way. The trail via Haukkalampi and Mustalampi is probably easier and perhaps slightly shorter, but around Mustalampi there is a steep climb.
