HERA (Jasmin Siddiqui) is a Frankfurt-born German-Pakistani painter with artistic roots in the graffiti and street art genre. She has been travelling the world since 2001 painting large-scale murals
HERA was part of “Artists for Human Rights“, the first ever street art exhibition inside the European Parliament in Brussels in December 2022. In 2023 she worked on several United Nations funded projects with the NGO “Streetart for Mankind“ promoting social change.

The artwork Left Luggage (Willy Baeyens) refers to the numerous children and youngsters that disappeared in the concentration camps during the war, as silent witnesses to the suffering caused by wars and violence.
The German artillery and guns in trenches and bunkers are shown, as a much-needed reminder of the horrors of which humanity is capable.
Living on the edge - No longer convenient.
Although I grew up in a working class area of a big city I find myself drawn to photograph the the coast and the junction of land, sea and sky. Mankind has been part of this landscape for thousands of years and we are now as much a part of it as the waves.
This photo is taken at Sheringham, Norfolk, England. The strange title is inspired by the taller building which is a holiday let but use to be a public toilet (A public convenience in the UK).

I visited Newtown again today with a friend for some Street Photography fun. Newtown seldom disappoints, and it certainly didn’t on this occasion. I was a little reluctant at first given the rain, but felt positive given that a lot of the street is covered by shop awnings. Also, rain can create a certain mood which appeals to me in photography.
As we were walking along, I spotted Darren from behind leaning to his left and reading a message that had been chalked into a blackboard against a shopfront. I thought it would make a good photo but he changed his stance before I could take it. He then saw me so I acknowledged him and he mentioned the sign and the reference within it about ‘mankind’.. He seemed like a philosophical kind of a guy and it didn’t take long before I asked him if I could take his photo.
I took a few and might post some of the others, but I like this one in BW with the graffiti in the background.

David Keith Lynch (born January 20, 1946) is an American filmmaker, painter, visual artist, musician, writer, and occasional actor. A recipient of an Academy Honorary Award in 2019, Lynch has received three Academy Award nominations for Best Director, and the César Award for Best Foreign Film twice, as well as the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival and a Golden Lion award for lifetime achievement at the Venice Film Festival. This late-game factory has such an amazing amount of detail in a massive room, and the light is done to perfection! I couldn't help but show this off with a strong Reshade bringing it out. Slogging through some parts of this game definitely made this worth it.
