I've been always fascinated by old watches. Unfortunately, this example no longer runs but it is still beautiful.

Peter Henlein is believed to be the inventor of the watch.

Candles and candlestick , both made by man, the candlestick turned by Robert Griffiths-Jones.

Almighty God's Word "God Presides Over the Fate of All Mankind" | The Church of Almighty God

Introduction

Almighty God says, "If you are a true Christian, then you will surely believe that the rise and fall of any country or nation occurs according to the designs of God. God alone knows the fate of a country or nation, and God alone controls the course of this mankind. If mankind wishes to have a good fate, if a country wishes to have a good fate, then man must bow down to God in worship, repent and confess before God, or else the fate and destination of man will unavoidably end in catastrophe."

Candles have been used as a source of light and to illuminate celebrations for more than 5,000 years, yet little is known about their origin.

New Christian Song 2018 "The Incarnate God Leads Mankind Into a New Era"

I

The incarnate God, He brings to an end the age when only Jehovah's back was seen. He also concludes the age of belief when in vagueness God was perceived. The work of the last incarnate God brings man to a more practical age. The work He does brings all mankind to a more pleasant and realistic time. He ends the age of vagueness, He concludes the age when man wished to seek God's face but was unable to back then. He ends man's service to Satan, to a new age man is led. All this is achieved by the work of God in the flesh, instead of God's Spirit alone.

II

He not only ends the age of law and doctrine, He shows man a God who is real, a God who is normal, righteous and holy, who unlocks the management plan, who demonstrates the mysteries, the destination of mankind, who made man and ends the management work, who has been hidden for thousands of years. He ends the age of vagueness, He concludes the age when man wished to seek God's face but was unable to back then. He ends man's service to Satan, to a new age man is led. All this is achieved by the work of God in the flesh. Oh, He ends the age of vagueness, He concludes the age when man wished to seek God's face but was unable to back then. He ends man's service to Satan, to a new age man is led. All this is achieved by the work of God in the flesh. All this is achieved by the work of God in the flesh, instead of God's Spirit alone.

The earliest stone toolmaking developed by at least 2.6 million years ago. The Early Stone Age includes the most basic stone toolkits made by early humans. The Early Stone Age in Africa is equivalent to what is called the Lower Paleolithic in Europe and Asia.

The oldest stone tools, known as the Oldowan toolkit, consist of at least:

• Hammerstones that show battering on their surfaces

• Stone cores that show a series of flake scars along one or more edges

• Sharp stone flakes that were struck from the cores and offer useful cutting edges, along with lots of debris from the process of percussion flaking

By about 1.76 million years ago, early humans began to strike really large flakes and then continue to shape them by striking smaller flakes from around the edges. The resulting implements included a new kind of tool called a handaxe. These tools and other kinds of ‘large cutting tools’ characterize the Acheulean toolkit.

The basic toolkit, including a variety of novel forms of stone core, continued to be made. It and the Acheulean toolkit were made for an immense period of time – ending in different places by around 400,000 to 250,000 years ago. From the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History.

The Philosophical Hall at the Strahov Monastery, Prague, Czechia (the Czech Republic's official short name as of 2016)

(unless you made and paid for a reservation months beforehand, you are not allowed inside and can only admire the room from the doorway; photos can be taken only if you pay extra for a photo permit; best viewed enlarged for details)

Abbot Vaclav Mayer, during the last quarter of the 18th century, decided to build new library premises for the numerous acquisitions so he ordered the Philosophical Hall to be built by the naturalized Italian architect Johann Ignaz Palliardi. The hall is 32 meters long, 10 meters wide and 14 meters high, flanked on all sides by rich walnut wood bookcases. The highest shelves are only accessible from the gallery which is accessed by secret spiral staircases in both corners, masked by false book covers.

The ceiling was painted by Viennese artist Anton Maulbertsch over a period of 6 months, aided by only one assistant. The painting called The Spiritual Development of Mankind depicts the development of religion and science, guided by Divine Providence in the center of the painting, surrounded by virtues.

In the 19th century, Napoleon Bonaparte's wife Marie Louise visited the library and donated a four-volume work on Louvre museum paintings and Versailles gardens. The gift was stored in the tall bookcase that dominates the left side of the hall. On the top of the bookcase, there is a marble bust of Francis I, Emperor of Austria and Marie Louise's father.

The total number of volumes in the hall exceeds 50,000 works. In 2010, the Philosophical Hall was completely restored.

"For millions of years mankind lived just like the animals

Then something happened which unleashed the power of our imagination

We learned to talk

(...)

It doesn't have to be like this

All we need to do is make sure we keep talking"

The wonderful mind of Stephen Hawking talking in this song by

Pink Floyd about talking, and then predicting this dark present.

Hawking had a rare early-onset slow-progressing form of motor neurone disease (also known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or "ALS" and Lou Gehrig's disease), that gradually paralysed him over the decades. Even after the loss of his speech, he was still able to communicate through a speech-generating device, initially through use of a hand-held switch, and eventually by using a single cheek muscle. He died on 14 March 2018 at the age of 76.

Tribute to Ray Bradbury, who used his creative talent to give warning to the careless mankind who once again are putting the world to the edge of the total nuclear holocaust. But at the scale of the Universe it probably does not really matter at all. So, the poem by Sara Teasdale which Ray Bradbury used as a name for his short story "There will come soft rains", and one of the iconic animations of this Ray Bradbury dystopian novel (1984, English subtitles) www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEBVUlg3NUM come as a contextual reference for the photograph

There will come soft rains and the smell of the ground,

And swallows circling with their shimmering sound;

And frogs in the pools singing at night,

And wild plum trees in tremulous white,

Robins will wear their feathery fire

Whistling their whims on a low fence-wire;

And not one will know of the war, not one

Will care at last when it is done.

Not one would mind, neither bird nor tree

If mankind perished utterly;

And Spring herself, when she woke at dawn,

Would scarcely know that we were gone.

Christian Song "God's Will for Mankind Will Never Change" | The Love of God Is Unchanging

I

God's been in this world for many years, but who knows Him? No wonder God chastises people. Seems God uses them as objects of His authority. Seems they're bullets in His gun, and once He's fired it, they'll all escape one by one. But this is not what is real, it's their imagination. God loves people like His treasure, since they're the "capital" of His management. He will not eliminate them. He won't change His will towards them. He won't change His will towards them.

II

God has always respected humans. He hasn't once exploited or traded them like slaves. For He and man can't part. Thus a life and death bond is formed. Between man and God, God loves, cherishes humans. Though this isn't mutual, God still spends efforts on them, as to God they still look up. God loves people like His treasure, since they're the "capital" of His management. He will not eliminate them. He won't change His will towards them. He won't change His will towards them. He won't change His will towards them. He won't change His will towards them.

III

Can they truly trust God's oath? How can they satisfy God? This is the task for all man, the "homework" God left for all. It is God's hope that they will all work hard to complete it.

Eastern Lightning, The Church of Almighty God of Almighty God was created because of the appearance and work of Almighty God , the second coming of the Lord Jesus , Christ of the last days. It is made up of all those who accept Almighty God's work in the last days and are conquered and saved by His words. It was entirely founded by Almighty God personally and is led by Him as the Shepherd. It was definitely not created by a person. Christ is the truth, the way, and the life. God's sheep hear God's voice. As long as you read the words of Almighty God, you will see God has appeared.

Fire is considered one of the best inventions happened to mankind and it is a dire need for mankind right from making food to travelling to space, mankind wouldn’t have exit without fire.

The existing of fire is long-long and the first use of fire is unknown to humans and archaeologists assume that the fire was invented or use 1 million years ago. The traces of charred wood dated 790,000 years old were found in central Africa.

Most illustrators, artists, painters or authors describe fire as a symbol of destruction, ruination, devastation and desolation but in reality it is the basic need of mankind and should be considered as sign of progress, development, advance, transformation, growth and life.

I would love to read more about the positive side of fire.

Why should mankind believe in God?

The Answer from God's word:

God created all things, and so He makes all creation come under His dominion, and submit to His dominion; He will command all things, so that all things are in His hands. All creation of God, including animals, plants, mankind, the mountains and rivers, and the lakes—all must come under His dominion. All things in the skies and on the ground must come under His dominion. They cannot have any choice, and must all submit to His orchestrations. This was decreed by God, and is the authority of God. God commands everything, and orders and ranks all things, with each classed according to kind, and allotted their own position, according to God’s will. No matter how great it is, no thing can surpass God, and all things serve the mankind created by God, and no thing dares to disobey God or make any demands of God. And so man, as a creature of God, must also perform the duty of man. Regardless of whether he is the lord or ruler of all things, no matter how high man’s status among all things, still he is but a small human being under the dominion of God, and is no more than an insignificant human being, a creature of God, and he will never be above God. As a creature of God, man should seek to perform the duty of a creature of God, and seek to love God without making other choices, for God is worthy of man’s love.

from “Success or Failure Depends on the Path That Man Walks” in The Word Appears in the Flesh

God created this world and brought man, a living being unto which He bestowed life, into it. In turn, man came to have parents and kin and was no longer alone. Ever since man first laid eyes on this material world, he was destined to exist within the ordination of God. It is the breath of life from God that supports each living being throughout his growth into adulthood. During this process, none believe that man lives and grows up under the care of God. Rather, they hold that man grows up under the love and care of his parents, and that his growth is governed by the instinct of life. This is because man knows not who bestowed life or from whence it came, much less how the instinct of life creates miracles. Man knows only that food is the basis of the continuation of life, that perseverance is the source of existence of life, and that the belief in his mind is the wealth of his survival. Man does not feel the grace and provision from God. Man then squanders the life bestowed upon him by God…. Not one man whom God looks upon day and night takes the initiative to worship Him. God continues to work as He has planned on man for whom He holds no expectations. He does so in the hope that one day, man will awaken from his dream and suddenly comprehend the value and purpose of life, understand the cost at which God has given man everything, and know how fervently God longs for man to turn back to Him.
