Prompt: chenonceau chateau late day sun shinig.
The Château de Chenonceau (French: [ʃɑto də ʃənɔ̃so]) is a French château spanning the river Cher, near the small village of Chenonceaux, Indre-et-Loire, Centre-Val de Loire. It is one of the best-known châteaux of the Loire Valley. The estate of Chenonceau is first mentioned in writing in the 11th century. The current château was built in 1514–1522 on the foundations of an old mill and was later extended to span the river. The bridge over the river was built (1556–1559) to designs by the French Renaissance architect Philibert de l'Orme, and the gallery on the bridge, built from 1570 to 1576 to designs by Jean Bullant.

Now we just need some trick or treaters... Okay, so I couldn't help but play around in Photoshop and make a little Tad factory since I couldn't go more than 30 seconds on this exposure. Yeah I know, it's a little outside what lightpainters like to do, but doesn't Tad look great with all his little clone friends?

Thank you very much for your comments and faves, regretfully, I am finding it increasingly difficult to reply to your comments, because of my very limited time on the internet, due to constant power interruptions in South Africa. I do read and appreciate every one of them, however! Thanks again!!
Another photo from my west Texas trip digitally manipulated to look like a painting. I'm having fun running my images through multiple filters to see how far I can push them. It does help that I've been an oil painter most of my life.
This was taken on a trail at the beginning of a slot canyon where the trail involved some boulder scrambling.
Through many wilderness areas and canyons in my lifetime I have trekked not knowing what was around the bend.
I think all of us in the USA are looking to see what's around the bend right now, hoping our navigational skills will get us through the rough spots.
I'm also halfway through raising donations for my deductible for my cancer treatments, so perhaps I'll soon be around the bend on health. Again if you are interested in my GoFundMe please message me, and many thanks to my kind and generous Flickr friends who have helped me!!!
