Leica Standard Modell E (first batch 1932/33), Leitz Elmar 3.5 50mm (1933), APX400
The very first shot from the first film with my Leica Standard just after buying it, shot in and around the "Germanisches Nationalmuseum" Nürnberg. The first captures of the film were not usable (as you can easily see). But the more I used the shutter the better it got. Nevertheless it is clear that a CLA is urgently needed. And this CLA will com at the end of June 2023 after my vacation.
This is from my new set, "Automatic Photography," so called because like Automatic Writing I utilize many different software programs on my realistic photographs and let Spirit lead the way into these abstractions.

Spectacular, very large ‘blackbird’ of tropical lowlands. Favors forest edge, open woodland, plantations, semi-open areas with trees; colonies of large pendulous nests adorn tall trees. Male is much larger than female, but sexes look similar: dark rusty overall with a black head, bold yellow sides to the tail, and ornate face and bill patterning. Flies rather directly, with slow, ‘rowing’ wingbeats. Memorable gurgling song sounds like water poured from a bottle.
Picture taken at Laguna Lagarto, Costa Rica.

Thank you very much for your comments and faves, regretfully, I am finding it increasingly difficult to reply to your comments, because of my very limited time on the internet, due to constant power interruptions in South Africa. I do read and appreciate every one of them! Thanks again!!

This is a shot of a sunflower in a local garden which I have manipulated. I like the fact that the manipulation reveals all the colours of the rainbow - of light -of the sun. Appropriate for a sunflower I think.

Jabiru - at Pantanal - MT - 2019.
The jabiru (/ˌdʒæbɪˈruː/ or /ˈdʒæbɪruː/; Latin: Jabiru mycteria) is a large stork found in the Americas from Mexico to Argentina, except west of the Andes. It sometimes wanders into the United States, usually in Texas, but has been reported as far north as Mississippi. It is most common in the Pantanal region of Brazil and the Eastern Chaco region of Paraguay. It is the only member of the genus Jabiru. The name comes from a Tupi–Guaraní language and means "swollen neck". en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jabiru
Will they have a chance?
