Diesmali hoped to see more photos of this plant, so here comes one :)
This one is from early summer. I think that with this treatment, they look more like some microscopic bacteria.
(Sounds so freaky, I admit...) My first attempt at posting something I've run through photo editing/manipulation software.
I have to admit it is SO damn intimidating to be here on Flickr when your equipment, subject and editing skills simply do not compare with those of the people whose images you appreciate. But you learn, right?

Manipulatives are fun, and they allow the kids to make their own mathematical discoveries. Here, O shows us the many ways to get to 8, exploring addition, subtraction and multiplication in the process.

Taken in Promenade Park, Maldon, Essex and then processed in Photoshop Elements to give a "painted effect".
Originally from Skept, who wishes he had used some fill flash for the foreground. A typical flash exposure would have ruined the mood, IMHO, but Photoshop can save it. I mixed in some lens blur for the background, too.
