My grandmother lives somewhere else now, but this house remains one of my earliest memories of Australia.

First attempts at using a handmade diffusion panel in front of the lens. Available light (interior artificial lighting). Diffusion panel made of nylon (white) stretched over black foam core.

 

Interested in learning how analogue filters effect the digital image for "in the camera" effect.

Funny, the cats have no interest in the clock when it's up on the shelf. Which is probably for the best, since it's a pretty high shelf.

SX-70: Time Zero expired film

Bad photo? Do something "artistic" with it. I applied an infrared filter and a soft focus here. This photo was just too sweet to discard.

Consumerism and the value of mass produced objects in comparison with ancient relics; I began to manipulate cans, plastic bottles, coffee and drink lids to discuss the value of consumer goods, i created shrine and alter objects to represent our worship of Capitalism. I created a collection of objects and began to explore the relationships between different forms, found objects often contained secondary themes for example I used a Paracetamol packet which contained themes of medicine, and health as well as the overall theme of Consumerism so connecting these dots through grouping was important.

My trip home to bury my grandmother occurred during tropical storm Hannah. The beautiful views of the mountains on the drive up were obsured by torrential downpours, but after we crossed Sideling Hill, the skies were filled with beautiful clouds. These shots were taken while I was standing next to her grave.

1. The meaning behind this is that the dog is sitting there like he should be but in his mind hes thinking of running that is why you are seeing to figures of the dog. the other figure is suppose to resemble the dogs spirt.
