O Parque de Avioso - S. Pedro está inserido na freguesia de S. Pedro de Avioso e Vila de Castelo da Maia. Tem uma dimensão de cerca 30 hectares e possui à volta de 4,5 km de percursos pedestres. A sua localização favorece o acesso, seja de transporte individual, através das Estradas Nacionais, seja através de transporte público.
The Parque de Avioso - S. Pedro is inserted in the parish of S. Pedro de Avioso and Castelo da Maia. It has a size of about 30 hectares and has around 4.5 km of footpaths. Its location facilitates access, whether individual transport, through the National Roads, either through public transportation.

The town of Nafpaktos is a popular tourist destination. Its long history and tradition is evident in its narrow cobbled streets. Its main attraction is the Castle, which is unique in Europe; its walls lap the east side of the hill on which the castle is built and extend to the picturesque Venetian port ending in two turrets.
The beautiful town of Nafpaktos is mostly known in Europe from the Battle of Lepanto in the 16th century, where the Christians fought against the Ottomans.
There are many lovely beaches in the town and surrounding area for the summer visitors, however it also provides interest for the winter tourists.
Nafpaktos lies at a distance of 216 km from Athens.

Narrow Band Hubble Palette
I knew I can pull more details from the data I get it at the Texas Star Party, the image was created by mapping the SII, Ha and OIII data respectively to the R, G and B channels. The resulting RGB image was stretched to show the faint detail and gives a wonderful display of the extent of hydrogen, in the area close to the Galactic Cluster NGC6871, the emission nebula LBN179, LBN182 and the dark nebula Swordfish B147.
By manipulating the colors, we can show the SII and OIII areas. This creates a much more interesting image and we can also do a bit of science.

NORTHERN EVIA.
The island of Evia lies along the Eastern coast of Central Greece, and is accessible to the mainland via two bridges, an old wooden bridge and a contemporary suspension bridge. There are also frequent ferries to several parts of the island. It is 175 km long and is the second largest island in Greece, and the third largest in the Eastern Mediterranean.

This is a little fun I've had recreating the recent past.
Whilst visiting Weston-super-Mare's burnt pier last month i deliberately took a shot at an angle I'd done before, with this image in mind.
Quite simply I cut out the pier from an old shot and pasted on, then changed the opacity and blended a few bits.
Difficult to judge how "ghostly" to make it, but I think it's about right.

This work began as a mail-art project in which General Idea solicited friends and collaborators to photograph them themselves in this unusual position. The participants are at once “holding and being held” – an idea that comes from Gestalt psychotherapy. The project points towards future works by General Idea that question the relationship between subject and object.
