There are many native tales of Coyote the trickster sharring his ability to shape shift. Coyote was known to appear as a beautiful young lady to lure the men into his tricks. also known to take on the form of wolf perhaps to pass on knowledge. Or even osprey as he made need to teach a lesson to a poor fisherman. those tales inspired my "Three forms one soul".
