Once the former Episcopal Church of the Holy Communion. Built in the Gothic Revival brownstone, it later gained infamy as a major NYC disco, featured in the book and film "Party Monster". Later became the Limelight Marketplace and now is a store.
The music history of this building is simply too fantastic and detailed for just a few words to describe it. Check out this link which goes into vast detail about the talented songwriters who once worked here (people like Carole King, Neil Sedaka, Ellie Greenwich, etc.)
