Searching for food, maybe something that he has put in the ground few days ago ? Jays do like squirrels that's why they are called "tree planters" because sometime they forget where they have put their food :)
ps : done in the shadow of trees in forest, no much light and moving bird mean very high ISO (12k)

The white pedals look rather like swans or else, the Spirit of Ecstasy (The Flying Lady of Rolls Royce) or even the shawls that "Lawrence of Saudi Arabia" used to wear... Anyway, the image as a whole reminds me of the birth of Jesus in the manger: the haystacks, Mary and Joseph, the angels and the 3 kings etc...

Le séneçon commun (Senecio vulgaris) est une plante annuelle invasive faisant partie de la famille des Astéracées. Elle pousse à l'état naturel dans toutes les zones tempérées du monde ; c'est une plante très cosmopolite. Elle est d'ailleurs classée comme espèce invasive en Asie, Amérique et Océanie où elle s'est naturalisée de manière spectaculaire.
Très commune dans nos jardins, elle se plaît aussi dans les champs cultivés ou en friches. Peu regardante quant à la nature du sol, elle pousse cependant mieux sur des terrains riches en azote et travaillés.

La floraison s'étend sur un très longue durée, pratiquement de mars à novembre selon les régions. La fleur jaune se présente sous forme de capitule allongé cylindrique sans pétale ni ligule. Les bractées sous le capitule sont tachetées de noir.
Les fruits sont en fait des akènes plumeux, volants, comme ceux des pissenlits. Il possèdent un fort pouvoir de dissémination.

Château de Villandry (37) - Rez-de-chaussée
Dotée d'une table fixe, c'est une pièce d'une grande modernité au XVIIIe siècle (jusqu'à la moitié du siècle, une planche sur tréteaux était installée à l'occasion des retours de chasse mais la recherche de confort et d'intimité impose peu à peu l'attribution précise d'un usage par pièce et la présence d'un mobilier permanent surtout dans les salles à manger.
Le sol de marbre est caractéristique des pièces de passage, le parquet étant réservé aux espaces privés.
L'ensemble du château et de ses jardins est classé au titre des Monuments Historiques depuis le 4 septembre 1934.

Explanation : the fish is fake, it is a fish in plastic that fisher use to fish.
Fortunately she couldnt eat it, else I think she would died.
Cette mouette était si heureuse d'avoir capturé ce gros poisson.
Mais elle n'a jamais réussi à le manger.
Pourquoi ?
Je laisse chercher la raison.
Explication : le poisson est faux, c'est un poisson en plastique que les pêcheurs utilisent pour pêcher.
Heureusement elle n'a pas pu le manger, sinon je pense qu'elle serait morte.

This is interesting, cause I'm asking myself why do people even keep goats? then the answer came from google that yes they thrive in arid and harsh environments.. and also they were the very first domesticated animals, before even the cattle or the sheep. people would make clothes and things from them. some sheep there too, out in the farms.

Ces cabanes se dressent fièrement sur la crête des dunes de Gouville, bien alignées et aux toits multicolores. Elles représentent un lieu idéal pour les photographes et peintres locaux et sont aussi l'emblème de la station balnéaire de Gouville-su-Mer. Implantées par les premiers touristes il y a près d'un siècle, ces cabines étaient un petit lieu où les touristes qui logeaient à l'hôtel pouvaient se changer et manger un morceau. Les touristes y entreposaient des jeux de plage, des vêtements, des instruments de pêche et servaient d'abri en cas de mauvais temps. Durant la seconde guerre mondiale, bon nombre de cabines disparurent détruites par l'armée d'occupation. Dès la liberté retrouvée, les cabines refleurirent petit à petit sur la dune. Dans les années 80, plus de cent cabines étaient implantées dans la dune mais la loi littoral vint mettre fin à leur implantation.

These cabins stand proudly on the crest of the Gouville dunes, well aligned and with multicolored roofs. They represent an ideal place for local photographers and painters and are also the emblem of the seaside resort of Gouville-su-Mer. Set up by the first tourists almost a century ago, these cabins were a small place where tourists staying at the hotel could change clothes and grab a bite to eat. Tourists stored beach games, clothing, fishing instruments there and served as shelter in case of bad weather. During the Second World War, many cabins were destroyed by the occupying army. As soon as freedom was regained, the cabins began to flourish again little by little on the dune. In the 1980s, more than a hundred cabins were located in the dune but the coastal law put an end to their establishment.
