I was at my cousin's soccer game when one of his teamates got injured. I think this pic is so funny, even though he collapsed on the floor, curled up in a little ball of pain. But he was OK in a couple of secs.

With a man down after a play, all the cheerleaders and visiting team players put knees to ground while medics did their work on the player. Thankfully he got up and walked off the field.

Soldiers from the 4th Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team (SBCT), 2nd Infantry Division evacuate casualties June 26 during Decisive Action Rotation 14-08 at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, California. When Operation Enduring Freedom began in 2001, the SBCT was only a vision. With the support of the Army Acquisition Corps, that vision became a lifesaving reality remarkably quickly. Should've ducked.

Alright team there's one man down. Now lets stay strong and guard this sewer grate!

Slowly, I've been going through boxes of mementos from my childhood. I had some excellent babysitters in my day. One, in particular, shared old Ken and Barbie dolls from her childhood. We would create forts and houses (out of books) to play out the stories in our heads. I still remember one that I created under our dining room table - it had many imaginary floors.

Anyways......this fabulous Ken doll was from her collection. Ken has said many terribly interesting things, gone to lots of cool places and had lots of good and bad relationships with Barbie. Ken's been stuck in a box for a long time. I think he was happy to get out for this portrait session. I don't have the heart to put him back in the box, yet.

Midnight show @ C.I.A. (california institute of abnormal arts)

The remains of the Wicker Man lay on the ground and mark the end of 2012's Beltain Festival.

The guy teetered a couple of seconds then collapsed. He fell to the sidewalk and fell backwards, hitting his head on the wall. It souded like a coconut on cement.
