The 2004 MAN 12.223 with Designline B44F bodywork snapped in Bath St. outside the Youth Space facility in the Te Takere Centre for the return journey to Shannon, Foxton Beach, Foxton and Waitarere Beach on the Friday 'Day Out In Town' community bus service on Friday, 5 August 2016.
This was the sixth DOIL service that No. 590 has operated since the service that was pioneered by George Tukapua's Tukapua Tours 1982 Hino BG100 (ex New Zealand Road Services) bus in 2013 which started with a free 3 month trial service to gauge ridership which finished on 29 November 2013
The service then operated on a regular basis the following year from Friday, 14 November 2014.
The Tukapua Tours coach made its last service run on this Friday service on 24 June 2016.
A short time after this snap was taken, what should pull in behind the Uzabus coach but the Tukapua Tours 1982 Hino!!

What was once a MAN 12
.240, now one of just five full electric Centros in existence, is seen at Bilston bus station on the 23 to Portabello, wherever that is.

The High Peak fleet includes three Plaxton Centro-bodied MAN 12.240s which presently tend to cover the two vehicle Buxton town 185/6 services. Two of these vehicles – 648 and 650 – came to High Peak from the Bowers half of the merger with Trent Barton in 2012, whilst the third, 649, arrived from Luton in summer 2017. 649 (FJ59FYS) was operating the 185 today, and appeared before my camera as it climbed through Harpur Hill with the 11:23 journey from Fairfield, backed by a fine vista looking northwards across Buxton.

The view is looking south-west just prior to sunset into Governors Bay (with the long jetty) and Teddington at the head of Lyttelton Harbour/Whakaraupo (partly obscured). The harbour itself is the remains of an extinct volcano and not only includes the Port of Lyttelton, but is also the gateway to the playground that is Banks Peninsula. The peninsula is littered with bays of every kind facing almost every direction. Swimming bays, surf bays and fishing bays. There is something for everyone and these bays are the getaway for many Christchurch people summer or winter while there are walkways, a few huts and plenty of tramps or day walks with stunning views to boot.
I don't normally include human subjects in my panoramas, but sometimes you don't have any choice! What was both interesting and amusing about this image is they they two young men were saluting the view and the sunset in the soft evening light, while the young woman only had eyes for her man...

Leopard Coachlines of Christchurch, 112 is this MAN 12.220 with Kiwi Bus Builders C34F body.
Registered FRR 660, it was new in January 2011 and seen in Rotorua while on tour in October 2015.
For stock balancing reasons, some Euston - Manchester services used HSTs in the early Noughties and here we see 43184 passing Carpenders Park on 12 August 2002 on the 1855 from Euston.

The Palmerston North based 2004 MAN 12.223 with Designline B44F bodywork snapped in Bath St. outside the Youth Space facility in the Te Takere Centre after completing its first run on the Friday 'Day Out In Town' community bus service run that had pickups in Shannon, Foxton Beach, Foxton and Waitarere Beach on Friday, 1 July 2016.
The bus has taken over the the service that was pioneered by George Tukapua's Tukapua Tours 1982 Hino BG100 (ex New Zealand Road Services) bus in 2013 and which started with a free 3 month trial service to guage ridership.

Diamond Bus 30704 KX57OVS Plaxton Centro MAN 12.240 based at their Kidderminster depot originally new to Grant Palmer of Dunstable. Still in its Blue Diamond livery recently transferred across from their Long Acre depot. It is seen outside Kidderminster town hall just after finishing a 3 service from Areley Kings. This makes it the newest bus based at Diamond Bus in Kidderminster at the moment!

You may remember this model flic.kr/p/Ah6yyc which I made in SketchUp, I looked up some tutorials for importing SketchUp files into Blender. So all I had to do was export the SketchUp file as an .obj (object) file, however this was not in my menu. So I decided to export as a Collarada .dae file. Results are shown in the image.
You may notice some errors like the windows carrying a normal non-opaque colour (instead of half opaque), and the right front headlight cover which are fully covering the lights. Not a bad conversion, still.
Fun fact: This render contains 481 seperate objects.
