The Home Ground studio is the epitome of organized chaos right now. lots of jewelry making and designing going on for Noel Night.
These are like mini bites of cheesecakes....so delicious! My mom used to make them when I was a kid, and I recently found her recipe card in a box of recipes I had. They turned out just the way I remembered them tasting....like little bites of heaven!

It was pretty foggy, so I decided to go out and snap some shots... this was taken on the tracks along HWY 80 between Forney and Terrell, Texas.

About the image: This slate etching shows engine #5 from the Jackson Bangor #6 slate quarry in its new home within the stone arches of the former Iron Foundry in Bethlehem. Using a nail, the image was carved into a roofing slate salvaged from the debris of the #1 engine house at the same quarry. The rest of the background, showing the Bethlehem blast furnaces, was added digitally from a photograph and paint tools. The stages of making the image can be seen here:

Caffè In Gamba, www.cafeingamba.com/en/index.php, was the third coffee shop of my Saturday! It was a great place. My cappuccino was great, and I also had a banana! The staff was very friendly as well.
This is also pretty close to the Parc Du Mont Real.
