Following his 6th Tour de France win, Lance Armstrong was cause for celebration in his homwtown, Austin, Texas. Goldie accompanied one of the volunteers to the parade. Her she passes the time waiting to see Lance by playing with some other enthusiastic fans.
Goldie is a wonderful little mascot at a hospital in Austin, Texas. Staff and volunteers take turns taking her on vacation and showing her a good time. Of course, lots of pictures are taken to share on her return! Goldie's other adventures with her personal assistant, Linda, can be found here and here.
I just caught this shot while walking along Duke street in Dublin. I nearly didn't take it and I hesitated for a second, but I just loved the character in the scene, from the guy pushing the trolly, to the busy background, and the slight bit of blue (which I normally don't like) gives it a sense of energy and movement.

The cast and crew of the Dreary Coast meeting in their dressing room before the first show. They lost this staging area after the first show due to some miscommunications between us, tenant, and the land lord. But we scrambled and a nearby church that had a basement we could use.

I am happy-ish with how this diptych came out. Had I thought of it at the time, I probably wouldn't have angled the knife and the chopsticks so closely as it looks intentional but sloppy. So I probably should have played off of that or else done away with it all together.
They're very different shots. The left hand shot is genuinely in progress, and has that natural light where the right-hand shot feels a little more studio-y. I think that this would be a good diptych to intro a recipe. Would love to hear feedback.

Shirley Kim making a native sweet dish called "palitaw," which is made of glutenous rice and water. Dipped in boiling water until they rise up the surface and you know they're ready and done. Eaten with garnish of shredded fresh coconut, sugar and toasted sesame seed. Meanwhile, Ruby's preparing the banana leaf for another mystery dish! (How many more?!!!)
We wanted to make bed-making a bit more enjoyable and see if we could make the nation see it doesn’t have to be a chore!
We hosted a Premier Inn bed-making competition.
