#3-proyecto verano.
No me gusta mucho, pero es lo único que he tenido tiempo de hacer. hoy ha sido otoño otra vez, y como además mañana hago una fiestuqui en casa, no he parado ni un momentín. Podéis veniros. se aceptan croquetas, tortillas, etc. Cervezas hay de sobra. No creo que suba fotos pero las haré. me esperáis hasta el lunes, no?

Making bunting for the summer house. Each square patched, Kantha stitched then backed...two down, eighteen to make in all . A bit like book pages. Slow and rhythmic stitching. Lovely wrinkly effect.

Bringing in the hay at Qassiarsuk in southern Greenland, from the small field near the settlement. A few more dry days would have been useful after the wet summer of 2018, however it will be cut now and kept, useful for winter These days most of the land is grazed by sheep, and some warmth and supplemental feeding in winter can make a big difference to their survival.

(It is now called Chuuk Lagoon; it was "Truk" when we visited in the 1970s.)

Here I follow how my mother handmade fish balls traditionally. Not perfectly shaped but pretty satisfied in taste.
Years ago ER brought me to a hawker who sold his handmade fish ball noodles in Bukit Timah hawker center. That was really delicious and unforgettable, as they resembled mum’s cooking. But, since his daughter took over the stall, the handmade fish balls were discontinued and this had partly prompted me to make my own. - Jenny

Middlefield Library, part of Geauga County Public Library, hosted a "Christmas Around the World" event. Kids of all ages had fun learning how other countries keep the holidays. Crafts, treats and posters were enjoyed by all.
