Prairieview students celebrated Dot Day 2017 by creating a large spiral in the field behind the school. Students held up their painted rocks and shouted out "Make Your Mark" as a drone video taped their efforts. The rocks will be used as part of the new outdoor classroom.

Outsiders -näyttelyn taiteilijat ovat synnyttäneet työnsä omaehtoisesti, kädet värissä ja lupaa kysymättä. Lähtökohta omaan rähjäiseen estetiikkaan on horjumaton usko taiteen tekemiseen itsenäisesti ja hyväksyntää pyytämättä.
Näyttelyn viiden kuvantekijän historia on Lepakon kellarista, junatunneleista ja asfaltti-ihottumaa kukkivista polvista. Heidän kauneudentajunsa tulee kaupunkiluonnosta, hylätyn, ruostuneen ja elämää nähneen Helsingin katoavasta ympäristöstä. Päämääränään henkilökohtaisen tyylin vieminen vieläkin pidemmälle.
