The Milwaukee Makerspace got a major re-organization, so I figured it was time to update my photos...
The shop area is looking much better. We moved the Laser Cutter to the far back wall (on the right) to improve the venting system, and there's more "work space" as a few of the larger tools got moved around.

Kevin made a Ruben's Tube at the space on Saturday. This is a device that modulates flames with sound waves. After some trial and error, they got it working, but more tweaks are needed.
Designed and printed by Emmi Zheng and Tahnee Marquardt for their 3D printing tutorial final project. Designed in Tinkercad and printed on an Ultimaker 2+.
The Maker Apprentices liven up the place. Thanks for all your great help with the projects, supervising the 3D printing facilities and supporting the Maker Coaches in so many ways!
A Hackerspace or Makerspace oftentimes act as a co-op community workshop that operates so that members could have access to devices and workforce to finish their own personal project which would have been difficult by themselves because of either absence of tools, workforce, or know-how. This drill press belonged to my dad, hence the 'R. PRODOEHL' written on it. This is one more tool now occupying the "2XL Makerspace" in sub-level 1.
