Nun startet im DrePunct der SLUB der neue Makerspace dauerhaft als Service für alle Nutzerinnen und Nutzer der Bibliothek. Derzeit laufen dafür die Vorbereitungen und der Testbetrieb. Im Januar 2015 wird offiziell eröffnet.

Inauguración del Multiespacio Educativo Cultural en la Biblioteca Artigas Washington con la presencia de Carol Brey, Consejera de Servicios Informativos del Departamento de Estado de los Estados Unidos.

Este nuevo concepto crea espacios colaborativos de trabajo con acceso a tecnología, información y recursos en diferentes áreas para potenciar la creatividad de los usuarios y el intercambio de conocimiento.

The Small Hall Makerspace is the DIY resource on campus open to all students, faculty and staff. We have a 3D printer, virtual reality headsets, a laser cutter for wood and acrylic, two CNC routers for wood and aluminum, a vacuum thermoformer, and various electronics and computing prototyping equipment.
