I loved all of the bicycle powered carnival park rides. They were really cool. If I was making a dark future movie these people would be in it.

We headed out to the Maker Faire in Flushing.

I was speaking at the "Maker Monday" event in 1000 Trades pub in Birmingham, along with some friends and colleagues.

Ethan pointed out that welding and a lot of propane form the basis for much of the great art we saw at Maker Faire... So here he is, my 13 year old, learning how to weld!
