Today I'm posting something other than one of my photos to help promote a new Disney App for Apple that I'm proud to be a part of.
A few months ago, I was invited to contribute some of my photos for this project by Norm Lanier, who has spent the last few months putting everything together. I'm honored to be in the company of such great photographers and think that the shots everyone contributed are incredible!
Here's a bit more about the app, in Norm's own words: I'm thrilled to announce myself and 16 other fellow Flickr Master Disney photographers have contributed to this Apple App which gives you an awesome new photo from Disneyland, Disneyland Paris or WDW daily. These photos are these photographer's best of the best. All profits from this app are being donated to the Make-A-Wish foundation. The app is available now in the iTunes store. itunes.apple.com/us/app/magic365-daily-disney-park/id5889...

To grant Renzo’s wish to be a “Construction Foreman” for the day, Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area teamed with Swinerton and Trinity Properties. As foreman for the day, Renzo operated a manlift, hauled dirt, operated a crane, and more. The day started a safety orientation and closed with Renzo leaving his mark on the project by making handprints in concrete, freshly leveled by him. Definitely Swinerton’s youngest construction foreman, he was a true hard worker and a delight to have on the jobsite. Excellent job Renzo, your hard work today made Swinerton and Trinity very proud!

The Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada and his wife Sharon attended a welcoming ceremony at the B.C. Legislature on Sept. 26.
Their Excellencies were greeted by Premier Clark and were presented with a bouquet of flowers by 6-year old Daisy Irwin.
The welcoming ceremony included a 21-gun salute and an inspection of the Honour Guard.
Inside the Legislature Buildings, their Excellencies greeted veterans and school children and took part in a presentation of a Coat of Arms to the B.C. Sheriff Services with Attorney General Shirley Bond.
This was an amazing moment at the Santa Light Parade. When the mascot for the Wish Foundation came by, this little girl ran out and gave him a hug.. and what follwed was a mass of children running out to hug "Roary" the Make a Wish Foundation mascot. So touching.
