Rosita's new collection Oriental Garden is inspired by a dress which she uncovered for her recent retrospective of Missoni fashion. The pattern in turn had been inspired by an embroidered shawl Rosita had found at a flea market. The dress had been worn by Charlotte Rampling for her wedding in the early '70s. Now the pattern has blossomed again into a complex collection of florals and stripes.

Dave goes all the way to Paris and still takes pictures of rocks. Yes, but what a great rock. This was a natural shape, not carved, jade-ish in color, from China, about 14" square, and the wholesale price???? 700 euro. Nuts.

Today was the day of food bloggers (and others, I'm sure) swarming the stage after (and during!) the presentations. Even one of the presenters made fun of the phenomenon.
