We responded by getting a thirty-pound steel monster called "The Ironside." Here it is, first positioned.

These are the standard Canada Post mailboxes, where you drop off your letters.

It's interesting... I've learned that each mailbox has it's own personality of sorts. These one's are two old aunts that grew up together. The one on the left is named Betty, she has a big mouth and is a bit of a gossip. She also likes to leave her mouth wide open and gape at things. The one on the right is Francis. She's sort of a shorter/wider girl who doesn't smile a whole lot and always wears a poker visor. I'll be visiting a few other mailboxes through out this project.

31/366 (Oh, and I've been doing this for a whole month... WHOOO!) I've also been trying to add vintage effects to my photos. I kinda like how this turned out, but does anyone have any ideas? I've looked up some tutorials but I'd love suggestions (I use photoshop 5.5)

Lomo mailboxes. It's been a crummy night weatherwise (which is the way I love it).

I had never seen a parrot mailbox before today, but I just Googled it and you too can own one of these for about $89. I really enjoy photographing mailboxes, but I always get a kick out of seeing manatee mailboxes. They make me laugh. (Photo #3330173)

Someone on Manoa Road decorated their mailbox to look just like Blue's friend Mailbox on "Blue's Clues."

This is a picture of our mailbox. We check it everyday. Sometimes, we get good things, but most of the time we just receive bills and junk mail.

There is a temporary walking diversion from the main entrance on Suffolk Street Queensway, and up Severn Street.

It leads to a tunnel that gets you to the final escalators (to get to the restaurants and BBC Birmingham etc).

#61: mail...I love how this photography hobby helps me see things I would otherwise overlook.

Watercolor Mailbox in Branford, CT

Just mailboxes. Liked the colors and the composition of the boxes on the stand.

This is a stained-poplar mailbox for my sister. Based more or less on the design of the one they're replacing. The finish is several coats of Spaarrr Vaarrrrnish, like the pirates use. The hinges are "antique steel" from Lee Valley Tools -- (Link)

Great use for an old mailbox
