It seems like there were more mailboxes on street corners when I was a child. I pass this one walking the dog three times a day. This photo is for the memory book when postal boxes somehow disappear altogether.

The Mailbox is due to be redeveloped.
There is a temporary walking diversion from the main entrance on Suffolk Street Queensway, and up Severn Street.
It leads to a tunnel that gets you to the final escalators (to get to the restaurants and BBC Birmingham etc).
