Amazhing Chef food processor - Global Shop Direct
Update 2008.05.14:
We tried it last night with avocado smoothies and chopping up some garlic and preserved lemon to make a fish marinade and it passed quite happily. The results was a slightly chunky marinade, probably because there wasn't enough to fill the blades, confirming my theory that good blenders have conical bottoms to cause the contents to collect close to the blade.
The Amazing Chef performed quite well with the cauliflower puree that filled the capsule to three quarters full.
We even had a few cubes of ice in the avocado smoothie and it managed to crush it all, no choking or sputtering. :)
The cups/capsules are polycarbonte, I think. Microwave and dishwasher safe. A quick rinse sorted them out mostly. The screw on blades is a bit annoying though. It takes more effort than most click-on blender lids. And the sillicone seals are a bit finicky to position. Not sure how the after sales support is for things like seals etc. My mum always raves about her Prestige pressure cooker that is 35yo and she can still find seals for it!

This is a variation of what I eat for breakfast every morning. I am not a fan of eating food first thing, so this works well for me.
It can be done, but best to choose a simpler breakfast than I did: bacon, eggs, blueberry oatcakes and quinoa with onions, celery and bell pepper. Truthfully, I was so full from the quinoa, bacon and eggs that I reheated the oatcakes and ate them later.
Red Weasel Media RWM decided to step out of the box and do something a little different this time. We wanted to do a gas mask photo shoot. We used a red enola gaye smoke grenade for some of the pictures and we used the 5 minute everlasting smoke grenades. I will say that they really do continue to smoke for 5 minutes. At some point we were scared that somebody was going to call the fire department to report a fire in the wooded area of Red Wing Park in Virginia Beach Virginia. We used a beauty dish as the source of light along with the Nikon 24-70mm lens, Nikon 35mm lens, and the Nikon wide angle lens.

Just made this smoothie (with fresh local strawberries from the Farmer's Market!) and finished drinking it while uploading this pic. Yum!

This could have used some more fruit. A few raspberries would have been really nice.
1/4 Haas avocado
2 handfuls kamatsuna greens (from VegHub)
1 small handful parsley
4 cubes pineapple
4 ice cubes
1 date
hemp milk to cover
EDIT: I actually went back and added raspberries, and it improved quite a bit! I think next time I use avocado as a base instead of bananas, I'll skip the parsley, though.
Filmed during two days in Paris after the workshop by Philip Bloom in Bruxelles with a Canon 7D 24p whit the CineStyle technicolor color profile.
I used a 50mm 1.4, Tokina 11-16 and an EF 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 DO IS USM, a Manfrotto tripod and a LCW Fader ND Mark II filter.
I did the color correction with Magic Bullet, and in some shots i had to use the moire removal plugin .... I did not put bands widescreen because it's boring to do it with final cut and I was in a hurry to post it ..(maybe i'll do it later)... I am aware that some shots need a better color correction such as those on the bridges of the Seine.
The final timelapse is in Hdr but not yet perfect. It's the first time that i made one after the Bruxelles one.....
Hope you like it......
Bye
