Found them back in stock at Toyworld!
Remember when Woody asked a Magic 8 Ball to come to Pizza Planet, he only got this reply!
Day 7 of the Copycat Week. I didn't know which person to copycat as the last day, so I decided to make a grand finish! Hope you enjoy! (I'm sorry I couldn't copycat everyone, but I'm okay with taking a break from the copycating for now.)

It's an amazing feeling not to have math homework due tomorrow morning (since we had the midterm last week)! Today was a good day; even though I didn't do much academically, it was good to get other things checked off my list. :-)

I post processed this in Canon Digital Photo Professional to increase saturation and contrast.
I took a portrait of the Magic 8-Ball, but I hate coming up with titles for these photos so I asked it what I should use. "Cannot predict now" it said. Useless piece of ....

Looking for answers to nagging questions like:
* Why can't I do unordered lists in Flickr??
* Will Rowan finish her 5 paragraph book report essay without any further tears? Yes!! Hallelujah! And it actually made sense.
* Will Gary put away the pile of clean clothes he's "organizing" instead of tossing them all atop the dresser? Tossed in a pile on the dresser, alas.
* Is there a way to manually focus a camera when you can't physically fit behind where it is going to be positioned and you don't know exactly where your subject will fall? Well, Alan got me halfway there - now I just need to figure out focusing with no subject in view ;-)
* Will I make any new year's resolutions this year? Still not quite sure
* Would I keep them if I did? Probably not - at least I know myself!
* Can anyone guess that I did a hands-only portrait today because as of 4pm, I still hadn't showered yet today? I dunno - did y'all notice??
Are they really making a movie on the magic 8 ball? What's next, "Snowglobe Story?" "Tales of a Paperweight?"
Actually, as long as the thing doesn't talk, it could be pretty good. And it could make a good horror type movie, a la "The Ring"- people find a magic 8 Ball, it predicts someone's death, person dies, someone else gets the ball, lather, rinse, repeat.
Anyway, the image is a little poster I made for the movie. I don't actually know when it's coming out, 2010 just looks really good on posters.
The middle drawer of my desk at work has all the stuff I need to survive. Mouse over photo for notes.

How cool are these? I found these on this link when I was looking at other peoples 365 projects a couple of weeks ago. You can get yours directly from Ali here.
Not much to say tonight, I thought it was next week this week, and then I realised its 10 days until payday not 3 which is rubbish!
I love badges, or buttons as the Americans call them.
With that in mind I am dedicating this to Wes & Jessica Boggs, because they are my latest internet friends right in the middle of America, and Wes doesn't know any other British people. He uses real American words in everyday conversation which is amusing.
My lapels of this jacket are covered, I tried to do a full shot, but somehow the close ups worked better.
I have given some to Chris and Olivier, so I'll be interested in what they do with theirs.

Did you know that when you purchase a magic 8 ball, there is a little legal disclaimer on the side that reads: do not use to make major life decisions.
I always thought that was funny.
I bought this one in college as a dorm room decorative piece (one of these days I'm going to post a pic of my old dorm...craziness).
I don't think I've ever used it to make a major life decision, but whatever I just asked, it said it is certain...so that means I will win the lottery. Thanks 8 ball! Time to quit my job and torch my car!
