Esta mariposa diurna de la Familia Lycaenidae es la llamada Cejialba puesto que tiene las cejas de los ojos de color blanco. El nombre científico es Callophrys rubi.

La única diferencia con Callophrys avis es que esta última se la conoce como Cejirrubia porque las cejas son de color rojizo. Además hay una diferencia no física entre ellas, la Cejirrubia siempre está unida a los madroños por lo que si en la zona no hay estos árboles de madroño y vemos una mariposa de estas, se tratará de la Cejirrubia. Lo malo es que si hay madroños entonces podemos encontrar a las dos y habrá que mirar el color del ribete alrededor de los ojos.

Lo dicho... la de la foto con ribete blanco..... Cejialba - Callophrys rubi.

Ah.... el verde de las alas, que de jóvenes ocupa la totalidad de estas, se va perdiendo como le ha ocurrido a la de la fotografía.
