Macroshot of the last ditty I wrote by hand on the occasion of a church organist's 70th birthday in 2003. I chose this as today's subject because that year I also composed a ditty in fit of pique after a viral attack rendered my fingers useless. I submitted it for publication for a magazine I used to contribute to, but the Editor turned it down on the grounds that it wasn't my usual quirky light-hearted kind of thing. Subsequently it got published elsewhere -wind forward to the beginning of this year when I was approached requesting its use for publication in this ( released this month by Paulgrave Macmillan)

I am babysitting this plant for a friend and its a damn nice looker too. All mine are shit bar the tiny little pitchers on my raffles.

Growing really well since the last time we saw it. You can see the old pitchers next to the new pitchers and how much it has changed since then. (The old pitchers are the flat wide ones(on the left), the new are the propper pitchers(on the right))

Macro shot of a sea shell....I just loved the shapes.....the twirls and curves.....doesn't nature produce the most amazing shapes?
