In the heart of Namibia’s arid landscapes, this remarkable desert chameleon blends seamlessly with its rocky surroundings. Adapted to harsh conditions, it showcases the wonders of evolution and survival in Africa’s extreme environments. Its textured skin and intense gaze tell a story of resilience and the incredible biodiversity found in Namibia.

" Le pompon rouge "

Il y a quelque temps alors que je ne m'y attendais pas , au détour d'un chemin sous un orage de montagne avec Oggì, je fis la découverte de ce sublime Lilium pomponium (lys de Pomponne) . Quelle surprise, il est sublime avec ce rouge éclatant ! Il va falloir réussir à faire quelque chose malgré l'orage. L'année prochaine, il me faudra trouver le Lys martagon avec son rose fuschia

🎶Ten green bottles hanging on the wall,

Ten green bottles hanging on the wall,

And if one green bottle should accidentally fall,

There’ll be nine green bottles hanging on the wall.🎶

In fact there were six green bottles, however they were not hanging on the wall and none of them fell. But only two were able to be photographed, so the other four were left on the shelf. These are filled with Bundaberg 'Lemon Lime and Bitters' which is a most refreshing drink to enjoy on a hot day - and we are having super hot days in the far north of New Zealand at the moment. HMM 😀

Like an outer space suspension. This tiny cobweb (about 5 cm wide and 3cm deep) was reflecting a world in it's rain drop globes. Bearing in mind each reflection is upside down, you can make out the sky, the side of our house (brown) and our trees. It's incredibly magical to take these shots, don't you think?

I've had this little spiral for about 10 years. It came with a plastic drink bottle that was a promotional gift with some protein powder.

I have never known how to use it, so today it had its first outing.........as a photography prop.
