William O'Brien State Park, MN - the water droplets are from natural dew that morning.

At only $25, the Xuan 30mm f/10 Body Cap Lens is one of the cheapest lenses out there, but is it any good? We review this lens here: youtu.be/btX24nM2m-s

Found this little beauty and got in close using my Sony SLT-A33, Minolta AF 50mm and a short stack of extension tubes.

Macro is a great way to see detail beyond what you normally take in with your naked eye, like the beautiful detail on this ring captured with the help of a Fotodiox Macro Extension tube. Practically any lens can be a macro - you just need to move the lens further away from your camera's sensor with an extension tube, and Fotodiox has inexpensive macro extension tube kits for all sort of cameras and lenses.

I decided to test a macro extension tube I bought some time ago but had forgotten all about it when I bought the new camera.

It's hand held by the way :-)

varnished

Whilst sorting through some of my cupboards last night, I found four identical nail varnish bottles all of the same colour (I like to collect things) ...so I thought I would sacrfice one and try out some shots! Plus I wanted something purple next to my orange gerbera in my project365 set..yes I really do think about such things!

Taken using standard 18-55mm lens and macro extension tube adapters no.2 & 3 (16mm & 30mm) Lit with a hand held torch with red filter.

Our Micro 4/3 Macro Extension Tube puts extra space between your Micro 4/3 lens and camera, turning any lens into a macro focus lens!

This macro photo of a tiny Leaf Beetle larva was captured with our Micro 4/3 Macro Extension Tube and an Olympus 15mm F/8.0 Body Cap Lens.

These magical macro flower photos were created by photographer Fabio Grassi with his Nikon Z7. Fabio mounted his Nikon Z 50mm lens on a Fotodiox Nikon Z Auto Macro Extension Tube, which allowed him to focus closer than otherwise possible for rich macro detail.
