Spotted this little guy on our hose pipe stand.
He was tiny, smaller than a pea but with a macro lens he suddenly becomes more than just a tiny jumping spider. He has eyes, and hairs and all this detail you wouldn't normally be able to see! 💜
Does anyone know if this a certain kind of jumping spider? 🤔

Die Kleidermotte (Tineola bisselliella) ist ein Schmetterling (Nachtfalter) aus der Familie der Echten Motten (Tineidae) mit weltweiter Verbreitung. Die Flügel der etwa sechs bis neun Millimeter großen Falter sind je nach Farbe der Nahrung hellgelb bis dunkelbraun glänzend, bewimpert, weisen keine Zeichnung auf und sind dachartig über den Rücken gefaltet. Die Flügelspannweite beträgt etwa 10 bis 15 Millimeter.
The clothes moth (Tineola bisselliella) is a butterfly (moth) from the family of real moths (Tineidae) with worldwide distribution. Depending on the color of the food, the wings of the approximately six to nine millimeters large moths are bright yellow to dark brown, shiny, ciliate, have no markings and are folded like a roof over their backs. The wingspan is about 10 to 15 millimeters.

We have been shooting an interesting subject that you can try at home - Dish soap bubbles - So we thought we would share a little how-to to get the creative juices flowing!

We have been experimenting with dish soap bubbles since the early days of the Adaptalux Studio (one of the first shots Sam ever took with the early prototypes). They make for some very cool shots with the correct lighting.
The space-like shots are achieved by shining light through a bottle of dish soap or hand soap. This is really easy to set up and have a go at in your own kitchen!
Shaking the bottle creates little bubbles in the viscous fluid and lighting them from behind or the side can show some amazing colours. The colour can get even more interesting when the fluid is colourless and coloured lights are introduced instead.
This shot was captured using a reversed 24mm lens with and extension tube. It's very close and can be difficult to focus with this set up, but you can get equally amazing shots with less magnification too. Here we used an amber light from the back, and a blue light from the side to create some separation between the bubbles in the foreground and the rest of the solution in the background.

Der Rüsselkäfer, bekannt für seinen charakteristischen langen Rüssel, gehört zu einer der artenreichsten Familien im Tierreich. Das Bild ist ein Stack aus 22 Aufnahmen, wodurch die feinen Details des Käfers und der Blütenblätter deutlich hervorgehoben werden. Die Textur des Käfers sowie die Staubblätter der Blüte sind klar erkennbar. Rüsselkäfer ernähren sich meist von Pflanzen und sind wichtige Bestäuber, aber einige Arten können auch als Schädlinge auftreten.

This image is a stack of 22 shots, which highlights the fine details of the beetle and the petals. The texture of the beetle and the stamens of the flower are clearly visible. Weevils primarily feed on plants and are important pollinators, although some species can also be pests.
