This broach was my great aunt's. I'm sure it's not valuable although it's pretty but I very rarely wear it. It needs a good clean and is missing two of the crystals.
As this one was taking no notice of me, I got in a close as possible. I then had to get it out of the spider's web.
Decided to raid the jewellery box today.
They are clip ons rather than for pierced ears, but I still wear them a lot.
Had decided to take a photo or two of my old cameras. While I had them all out I took my macro shots at the same time.
I took my camera and my new 100mm macro lens (a very reasonably priced one that was nevertheless written up in a serious book as "venerable") out for a hot date this afternoon to make good use of the late day sun.
*Macro mania – disorder, avoiding the scenery, delaying getting out of the car in honor of a very small critter flying in using your finger as a Landing strip : - )
I took the dusty pot-pourri in the main window and noticed that the tiny Christmas lights where still there, so took this photo at the same time.
