This broach was my great aunt's. I'm sure it's not valuable although it's pretty but I very rarely wear it. It needs a good clean and is missing two of the crystals.

Couldn't resist catching this while I was taking the bees on the Lavender.

As this one was taking no notice of me, I got in a close as possible. I then had to get it out of the spider's web.

When I took the photo of the cracked window I went in for a macro too.

Basking in a rare moment of sunshine in my shade border.

Had decided to take a photo or two of my old cameras. While I had them all out I took my macro shots at the same time.

I took my camera and my new 100mm macro lens (a very reasonably priced one that was nevertheless written up in a serious book as "venerable") out for a hot date this afternoon to make good use of the late day sun.

Was almost sitting in the flowerbed to get this.

Saw these flowers on my walk. They looked really pretty in the sun.

A blessed Easter holiday weekend to all!!!!

While I was waiting for G to take his photos I was inspecting the moss!

I took this at Saclas. It was rather windy and although I took another photo of the bee above the flowers it didn't come out. Drat!
