These are on a bush near our house and have only just come into flower.
One of our friends thought I was as mad as a hatter to be almost sitting on the pavement to get a macro shot.
Also know as Golden Abundance.
I now can't remember what the flowers look like on this plant from last year. Will try and remember to photograph them when they're in bloom.
Was rummaging in the kitchen for ideas again today and picked out this. We don't use it other than for the animals now. The newer one is nowhere near as interesting to photo.
Rather an odd selection today as I didn't have an idea in mind.
One of the pictures had fallen off the wall so took the patafix. It gets hot and starts to melt!
I'm always thankful for my neighbor, Betty, who lets me photograph her pretty flowers whenever I want to do so. This is one of the shots I took last spring. I was playing with using an extension tube on my 100mm macro lens, which was a challenge. The window for focusing is very tiny.
