Seen in the garden.

I found this little lady on my back porch a couple of days ago. I hung an empty aquarium from the ceiling with her in it to shoot this. Had an extra flash in the tank to bounce off the close ceiling for a white background. I am currently keeping her well fed and healthy because in a couple of days I am going to have a black widow/mantis showdown with camera in hand.:) I have to wait for the mantis I am going to use to fast, because I want it to be hungry and hopefully unharmed when it's all over.

Cicadas scare the beejeezus out of me most of the time...but they're really cool to examine when dead!!

Reflecting the blue sky, this bee was so sluggish I could spend use a very slow shutter speed.

considering I was about 4 inches away , he didn't seem to mind,

Oh boy !!! I'am afraid ! What am I doing here ? I want to come back home !!!

Halala !! J'ai peur ! Qu'est-ce que je fous ici ? Je veux rentrer chez moi !!!
