A lunedì ...

See you Monday ...

Ladybug showing off for the camera :-)

Cicindela campestre, a small beatle on a rock. In Attica area - Greece.

This lovely little ladybug was hanging out on a stray rose bush shoot sticking out over the pavement right at eye level, how could I not whip out my phone and grab a shot 🐞

This damsel fly hovered in place long enough for me to accomplish a few focused images--this one being one of the better ones. The image in the comment box below lost too much quality in cropping, but I wanted to be able to distinquish the tiny bug in its mouth (you can just see the wing). I think it was "hunting" for bugs and that's why is was hovering in front of our cosmos flowers in the first place.

Ich brauche mal wieder eine Erinnerung an den Sommer...

This is a stereo photo (you look at it cross-eyed to see it in 3d) of a grasshopper I took on a recent hike.

Went bug hunting yesterday with my new toy (D700), only managed to shot for abt an hr or so and it started drizzling!! Got to abandon my macro mission thereafter, though shortlived, still managed some decent shots to share with all! Happy Viewing!!!

Taken with D700 + 105 VR f 2.8 + Raynox 250 + R1, 10% cropped.

All comments, critique for me to improve are most welcome!!! =D
