I've been there!

I am so sick of the lingering winter so I thought I'd make a statement (sorry green teams, I don't really want global warming... just Indiana warming).

So I tried to shoot a globe being warmed. There are many ways to shoot it. Oven, candle, lighter, fireplace, etc.

None look very nice without lots of natural light, I suspect. Here is the one image that I like from my photoshoot.

Arroyo Dulce Argentina

This is a single droplet of water on a needle eye. I used an upside down map of the world as a backdrop and inverted the map by refracting it through the droplet to create a Globe.

I stuck a marketing poster underneath and fired a strobe up. This one I like.

A beautiful and symbolic gift from the lovely Mehrnush found a perfect home in the big wall of windows in my bedroom. I love its perfect self-contained universe.

The globe thistles in front of Carton House reception didn’t just catch my eye, it seems the bumble bees noticed them too

I've been wanting to take this shot for a very long time, but sometimes either it was the light causing the problems, or just couldn't find the right angle. But alas, I achieved success! =D

Heal the world. Make it a better place. For you and for me, and the entire human race.

I was thinking this globe enough, till there sprang out so noiseless around me myriads of other globes.

I have two suns and two moons. The globes light up in alternating colors at night after storing energy from the sun all day. They can be hypnotizing if you let them!
