I love African Daisies. The petals are unique in their design and the center of the flower is a pretty blue unlike most centers which are yellow. Captured with a macro lens to bring out the detail.

Shooting blind in the Hydrangea bush against the afternoon Sun. These are a deep Pink in color.

I don't often take flower pictures and post them even less often. This day I was out taking pictures much earlier than I usually do and enjoying the morning sun to try out using the auto-focus on my macro lens. It's not something I've ever really used as I usually take macros up much closer than the auto-focus allows for. My gosh the sunlight was wonderful. :-)

 

My series of three flower pictures, taken in a nearby public garden, was prompted by the startling statistics about this summer. It has been the driest one in recorded history. Just 8.6 mm (0.34 inches) of rain in total fell in the last three months.

Running out of flowers to take pictures off so started on my neighbours gardens hopefully they dont mind or think im a strange weirdo looking in there gardens🙈
